Why I'm Running
I’m running for school board because I believe ALL students in our district should have the opportunity to realize their full potential. As a former special education teacher and parent of a 2022 Canyon Crest Academy graduate who’s headed to a 4-year university, I understand that students’ needs are diverse and complex. I believe our district can do more to support our students in finding their individual pathways to success.
A healthy governing school board will engage in productive discussions that result in student-centered decisions. Trustees must demonstrate professionalism and respect for all members of our community. Our students’ opinions and experiences matter, and our parents need to know their voices are heard. Our administrators, faculty and staff are critical partners whose input should be valued.
As an experienced leader, I bring to the table a level head, a collaborative spirit, and an open, transparent communication style. I will listen, engage, and seek sustainable outcomes that have broad community support.
